Anyway, enough about Weatherald. His replacement, Marnus Labuschagne, has made a decent start to his innings, clubbing a couple of boundaries already, and now two more off Ben Stokes, who has looked really good with the ball for England. And now one more to fine leg. He’s on 14 not out.
And that brings Travis Head on strike – and he slaps a lovely cover drive to the rope, bringing him to 39 not out. I told you he was on one.
And there’s another one! Except it doesn’t quite have the same momentum and doesn’t reach the boundary, so it’s only three. It means the over is worth 11, and Head is now unbeaten on 42. Before this one, Stokes had given away only two runs from his previous three.
Overall, a really good start by Australia.
