The Los Angeles Clippers cooled off a bit this week, going 1-2 and being outscored by 42 points in those three contests.
But that’s not enough to send them flying too far down the ranks.
The teams that most recently beat L.A. were the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks, both of whom have a chance to represent the East in the Finals. And the Clippers are still 7-2 in their last nine.
Most importantly, Kawhi Leonard has looked like his old, Terminator-esque self during this run, with averages of 33.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.6 steals and 1.3 blocks.
