Andrew Lisnock tallied a goal and two assists to lead Westfield, No. 10 in the NJ.com Top 20, to its fifth straight win, a 4-1 victory over Gov. Livingston-New Providence at Warinanco Ice Center in Roselle.
Gov. Livingston (6-8) struck first when Alec Novotny found the net in the first period with an assist from Charlie Zarinko.
Westfield (9-1) responded in the second period with two goals to take control of the game. Chris Smok converted on a power play opportunity with an assist from Lisnock to tie the score at one.
Luke Fitzgerald gave the Blue Devils the lead with what proved to be the game-winning goal, assisted by Lisnock and Nick Benson.
The home team added two more goals in the third period to secure the victory. Lisnock scored with assists from Colin McGeehan and Smok, before McGeehan added the final tally with Louis Ciullo providing the assist.
Westfield goaltender Troy Conover stopped 10 of 11 shots.
Jason Wachtel made 36 saves on 40 shots for Gov. Livingston.
