The next contenders for the WWE World Tag Team Championship have been determined. During Monday’s episode of “Raw,” a fatal four-way tag team match was held with the No. 1 contender status at stake. Ultimately, Otis and Tozawa of Alpha Academy defeated The New Day, American Made, and Rayo and Bravo Americano to become the new title challengers for The Usos’ gold.
Jey Uso was at ringside during the match. He delivered a superkick to Grayson Waller, who had been getting involved in the match on behalf of The New Day.

The Usos Rule Tag Team Division Again
Jey and Jimmy Uso defeated AJ Styles and Dragon Lee during the Dec. 29, 2025 episode of “Monday Night Raw” to capture the WWE World Tag Team Championship. The feat was accomplished shortly after Jey announced he would be returning to the tag team division with his brother. Jey had been slotted in the main event scene and even once captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Otis and Tozawa have long been used as comedy characters on WWE TV. Still, the duo often revs up the intensity in big situations, and the tag team title match could be a sleeper hit whenever it’s booked. WWE has yet to announce when The Usos will defend their gold against Alpha Academy.
