Sylvia Kotikian, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and medical director of the Emergency Department at Adventist Health Glendale, one of the leading tertiary care centers in the Los Angeles region. In this role, she leads a high-performing emergency team that cares for some of the most complex and critically ill patients in the area. Under her leadership, the Emergency Department is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center; a STEMI Receiving Center; a Primary PCI Chest Pain Center accredited by the American College of Cardiology; and an emergency department caring for older adults.
