Mahwah tops Leonia in the Bergen County Tournament - Girls basketball recap

Emma Jordan posted a double-double, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, five steals, four assists and three blocks to lift 14th-seeded Mahwah to a 55-36 victory over 19th-seeded Leonia in Mahwah.

Ava Comer had a team-high 16 points to go with five steals and four assists for Mahwah (11-5). Taylor Tremblay added 15 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Mahwah plays third-seeded Teaneck in the first round on Saturday at 2:30 in Old Tappan.

Angelica Do scored a game-high 19 points for Leonia (8-7).
