An overnight storm dropped at least 2 inches of snow across multiple counties in central New Jersey by Monday morning, according to National Weather Service reports.
The highest snowfall total was 2.4 inches in Frenchtown in Hunterdon County, followed by 2.2 inches in Jackson in Ocean County, Belle Mead in Somerset County and Lebanon in Hunterdon County.
At least a trace of snow was reported in 14 counties, according to the weather service.
A cloudy and cool day is ahead for New Jersey on Monday, with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.
Much warmer weather is expected for the rest of the week with temperatures in the 50s and multiple rounds of rain, according to the weather service.
