Toms River South edges Mainland to reach first semifinal since 2015 – Boys basketball

Kharii Pringle scored a game-high 17 points as seventh-seeded Toms River South defeated 15th-seeded Mainland 42-37 in the NJSIAA South Jersey, Group 3 quarterfinals in Toms River.

One season after missing the playoffs, the Indians (16-12) advanced to the semifinals for the first time in 11 years. They will face second-seeded Ocean City, the defending champion.
