Dozens of passengers evacuate NJ Transit bus that caught fire after hitting a pothole

Twenty-five passengers were able to safely escape an NJ Transit bus that caught fire Tuesday evening on the New Jersey Turnpike, officials said.

The bus, which was on its way from Bridgewater to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York, blew a tire in the northbound lanes of the expressway near exit 14 in Newark, an NJ Transit spokesperson told NJ.com.
