Still, we knew this bag was destined to be a hit, and when it was later introduced in soft suede, the shape finally received the attention it deserved—taking over our social feeds and selling out incredibly quickly. In fact, by the time we covered it, the medium size was already sold out on Prada.com.
By early 2025, the bag continued to gain momentum, with Prada officially naming the silhouette the Bonnie Bag and introducing new sizes and colors. The subtle sophistication of the Bonnie Bag, combined with its belted details that nod to Prada’s heritage, offers the perfect mix of modern and vintage.
Distinctly Prada yet undeniably contemporary, the Bonnie Bag will remain an important silhouette for the House. It made its runway debut in Prada’s Fall 2026 collection, with new iterations dropping shortly after.
