Dan Hennessy pitched a complete game as third-seeded Wall defeated 14th-seed Shore 6-1 in the first round of the Monmouth County Tournament in Wall. Luke Dana ripped an RBI double in a three-run bottom of the first inning to spark the offense.
Hennessy scattered six hits while allowing one run and striking out two and walking two. The complete-game effort marked his third win of the season in his first start of the season on the mound.
