Jaxson Dart exited the Week 10 New York Giants game against the Chicago Bears after he sustained a concussion on a running play during the second half. Then, midway through the fourth quarter, he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Just moments after Dart’s exit, 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson completed a 41-yard pass to running back Devin Singletary that helped New York extend its lead to 20-10 was just over 10 minutes left in regulation.
Without Dart, however, the Giants ultimately lost the game after Bears quarterback Caleb Williams scored two touchdowns in the game’s final four minutes. The loss dropped the Giants to 2-8 on the season that includes an 0-6 record on the road.
Dart went 19 of 29 for 242 yards against the Bears prior to leaving the game. He also made NFL history on Sunday, becoming the first quarterback to ever rush for a touchdown in five consecutive games. He ran for 66 yards and two scores prior to getting hurt.
The 25th overall pick in April’s draft, Dart entered Sunday’s game with 10 touchdown passes against just three interceptions this season. He’s won two of his six starts for the Giants since replacing Wilson in the starting lineup.

Dart left Sunday’s game with the Giants ahead, 17-10. The lead swelled to 10 points before the Bears rallied behind Williams, whose game-winning score came on a 17-yard touchdown run with 1:47 left.
The Giants lost when the offense turned it over on downs following four straight incomplete passes from Wilson, who went 3 of 7 for 45 yards in relief of Dart. He was also sacked twice as the Giants’ offense gained just seven yards during Wilson’s three full series of work.
