At the BAFTA Awards 2026, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts rolls out the red carpet to celebrate the best in film. With Prince William at the helm as the president of the organization, a can’t-miss red carpet, and a star-studded show held at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London, featuring musical performances and a beloved host, the annual awards ceremony is quite the affair.
But first, the nominees. One Battle After Another, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, Chase Infiniti, and Benicio Del Toro, is the most nominated film of the evening, with 14 nods. Just behind it is Sinners, starring Michael B. Jordan as twins Smoke and Stack, with 13 nominations (just a few weeks ago, Ryan Coogler’s film racked up a historic 16 Oscar nominations). Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet is nominated for 11 awards, as is the Timothée Chalamet–fronted Marty Supreme.
In the lead-actor category, Chalamet is up against DiCaprio, Jordan, Robert Aramayo (I Swear), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), and Jesse Plemons (Bugonia). And in the leading-actress category, Infiniti is nominated alongside Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), and Emma Stone (Bugonia).
In addition to tuning in to see who wins the awards themselves, traitors and faithfuls alike can look forward to Alan Cumming hosting the show. Presenters include Aimee Lou Wood, Bryan Cranston, Cillian Murphy, Delroy Lindo, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Sadie Sink, Jordan, and more. And the BAFTAs 2026 will make television history when KPop Demon Hunters singing stars Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami perform “Golden,” their catchy hit song from the animated film, for the first time outside the United States. Jessie Ware will provide the soundtrack for the “In Memoriam” segment by performing a cover of a Barbra Streisand song.
