Ayyub Wilson scored 14 of his game-high 18 points in the first half as Arts defeated Seton Hall Prep, No. 12 in the NJ.com Top 20, 62-48, at Frank J. Tracey Gymnasium in West Orange.
Wilson added five rebounds and four assists for Arts (7-5), which used a 22-6 second quarter surge to take a 16-point lead into halftime.
Kareem Anthony had 10 of his 16 points in the second quarter, which also saw Tyshaun Boyd score six. Boyd and Mekhi Jean-Pierre both finished with eight points and five rebounds.
Avery George paced Seton Hall Prep (10-4) with 15 points, 12 coming in the second half. Infinite Sincere-Amen Ra had nine points and Bryce McCray added seven with eight rebounds. Anthony Gonzalez had seven points with seven assists and Alex Ante added eight points and five rebounds.
