Camaj’s double-double powers Montville past Sparta – Boys basketball recap

Eddie Camaj finished with a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead Montville to a 69-47 victory over Sparta in Montville.

Montville (5-1) led 34-20 at halftime and outscored Sparta 35-27 in the second half to secure the win.

Chris Ferrare added 18 points, including three 3-pointers, while David Gonzalez finished with 12 points. Joey Beyer also recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards.

Leshem Little and Shane Hoover each scored 14 points for Sparta (1-5).
