Monty Lopez, father of singer and TikTok star Addison Rae, was arrested for allegedly exposing himself.
The 50-year-old was arrested in Louisiana this past July and charged with felony obscenity, according to Page Six. The arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred in 2024.
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office accused Lopez of “exposing his genitals, pubic hair, in a public place or place open to public view, or in any prison or jail, with the intent of arousing sexual desire or which appealed to the prurient interest or was patently offensive,” according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
Lopez entered a plea of not guilty at his arraignment on Sept. 2, 2025. His bond was set at $2,500 and his next hearing scheduled for March 19, per Page Six.
Prosecutors have recommended a year of hard labor for Lopez, who has not publicly addressed the charges.
Lopez is the father of Addison Rae, 25, whom he shares with ex-wife Sheri Easterling, along with two sons Enzo and Lucas.
The 25-year-old media star gained fame as a popular TikToker, eclipsing one million followers in 2019. She currently has over 88 million followers.
Rae kicked off a music career in 2021 with the release of her debut single “Obsessed.” She landed a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
