A former Bergen County art teacher agreed to give up her license after admitting to having sexual encounters with a student, according to the New Jersey Department of Education.
State education officials have revoked the teaching license of Amy D’Ovidio, 48, of Pompton Plains. She was ordered to surrender her certificate within 30 days of March 6, according to a notice from the Department of Education’s Board of Examiners.
