Gaku Hamada, Anna Ishii, and Nobuyuki Suzuki are cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Keiji, Furidashi ni Modoru.” Drama series is based on webcomic “Hatsukoi Reverse: Keiji, Furidashi ni Modoru” by MANGAmuse, which will be available from March 27, 2026 through Mecha Comic. The screenplay adapation by Yasuhiro Yoshida (“Cold Case“) will have Gaku Hamada play lead character Makoto Hyakutake. He is a detective and he somehow travels 10 years back in time. He then tries to change the destiny of his girlfriend who died.
“Keiji, Furidashi ni Modoru” will first air April 17, 2026 in Japan (takes over TV Tokyo’s Friday 9 PM time slot after “Moto Kasouken no Onna“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: In 2026, Makoto Hyakutake (Gaku Hamada) works as a detective. He is nicknamed Mobu-san because of his lackluster presence at the police station. Since losing his beloved girlfriend Misaki Saeki (Anna Ishii) one year ago, his days seem meaningless, while he watches his colleague Takashi Yoshioka (Nobuyuki Suzuki) push forward on the path to success. One day, Makoto Hyakutake is shot while he has cornered a vicious criminal. The next moment, when Makoto Hyakutake wakes up, he finds himself in the year 2016. With his decade of experience, he sets out to protect his girlfriend Misaki Saeki and change their fate.
