West Essex freshman Joseph Formosa won the 113-pound title with a 10-0 major decision over Paramus freshman Alexandria Barskiy during the NJSIAA District 8 wrestling tournament on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 at West Essex High School in North Caldwell.

In the season’s final event inside its home gymnasium, West Essex went out with a bang.
