Aivaye Ingram scored 31 points as second-seeded Trenton defeated 15th-seeded West Windsor-Plainsboro South 84-43 in the first round of the Colonial Valley Conference Tournament in Trenton.
Trenton got out to a quick 24-7 lead at the end of the opening quarter and never looked back.
Juan Sanchez contributed 21 points, including four 3-pointers for Trenton. Jackson O’Connor led West Windsor-Plainsboro South (3-21) with 10 points.
Trenton (16-6) sits tied for first place in the CVC Colonial Division at 6-1 with Ewing.
Trenton extended its winning streak to three games and will host seventh-seeded Nottingham in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
