Jersey Mike’s Subs hopes to raise a record-breaking amount for a good cause in March as part of its 16th annual “Month of Giving” campaign.
This year, the Manasquan-based fast casual sandwich chain’s 3,200-plus locations across the country are collecting donations on behalf of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.
Starting March 1, customers have the option to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate when placing their order.
The campaign culminates March 25 with a nationwide “Day of Giving,” when Jersey Mike’s stores will give 100% of sales to Special Olympics and the organization’s local state programs attending the games.
Since 2011, the Month of Giving effort has raised more than $143 million. This year, Jersey Mike’s aims to surpass 2025’s record-breaking national fundraising total of $30 million, according to the chain.
Locally, nearly 140 restaurants are teaming up with Special Olympics New Jersey.
Chain CEO Charlie Morrison commented, “As Jersey Mike’s celebrates our 70th anniversary, it’s especially meaningful to recognize our long-standing partnership with the Special Olympics. As a presenting partner of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, we are proud to support a mission rooted in inclusion and opportunity, helping athletes shine both on and off the field.”
He added, “We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Special Olympics athletes during our Month of Giving.”
Scheduled for June 20-26 in Minnesota, the Special Olympics USA Games will feature nearly 3,000 athletes competing across 16 sports, including gymnastics, swimming, basketball, pickleball and cornhole.
