Ferrero North America’s Kinder Joy treat-plus-toy brand is sending families on a real-life Easter egg hunt for a chance to win a dream vacation.
As part of a newly launched contest, participants who discover a golden bunny toy inside of select golden eggs toys are eligible for a grand prize trip for four to Orlando, Fla., according to the Parsippany-based confectionary giant.
The vacation includes round-trip airfare, ground transportation, theme park tickets and spending money. Overall, the trip is valued at $17,000, Ferrero said.
Since its 2018 debut in the U.S., Kinder Joy has grown into a power brand for Ferrero. The product features creamy layers, chocolate-covered wafer bites and a surprise toy.
The limited-edition Easter collection is on sale now at major retailers nationwide. Products that contain a golden bunny toy will also include a code to submit here to enter the Eggs-tra Special Egg Hunt sweepstakes.

The contest ends April 12. A random drawing will take place April 14 to select a grand prize winner, Ferrero said.
According to the company, the winning family must book their trip to Florida between Feb. 1, 2027, and Dec. 31, 2027, otherwise they forfeit the prize.
Kinder Joy USA Vice President of Marketing Amber Hansinger said, “The Easter egg hunt is one of those timeless traditions that spans generations and Kinder Joy is proud to be a part of those family moments.”
“We’ve always believed that joy doesn’t have to stop when the last egg is found—our delicious treats and the toys inside extend into hours of imaginative play. This year’s Golden Bunny and sweepstakes give families an extra special treat to look forward to,” she said.
After starting in 1946 as a small pastry shop in Alba, Italy, Ferrero has grown to become a global leader in sweet-packaged foods, including confectionery, biscuits, ice cream and better-for-you-snacking, with over 35 brands sold in more than 170 countries.
Since entering the North American market in 1969, Ferrero now has more than 5,400 employees in eight offices as well as 15 plants and warehouses in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. The North American’s lineup includes Butterfinger, Crunch, Keebler, Famous Amos and Mother’s Cookies.
