Matthieu Blazy’s first collection for Chanel was one of the most anticipated debuts of the Spring 2026 season, and in true Blazy form, it did not disappoint. There was a collective gasp when the first look hit the runway, and when the show was over, it was ever apparent—Blazy had won Spring 2026 fashion month.
Today, his first collection for Chanel is finally here, and we’ve got a look at some of our favorite bags, fresh from the Spring 2026 lookbook.
Bags focus on reinventing Chanel’s most important House codes, first deconstructing then reconstructing, like the classic 2.55, which is given a lived-in, relaxed feel, showcased in crinkled leather. An iconic House signifier, remade for today’s Chanel girl.
There are new takes on other brand signatures, too, like maxi versions of the Classic Flap. Bicolor leather bags evoke a contemporary-meets-classic feel, and bold colors like teal and burgundy round out the selection.
