N.J. judge says threats to call ICE on families were ‘empty’ scare tactics

A Somerset County municipal court judge suspended over threats to call U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on families testified Wednesday before the state’s judicial advisory panel.

Britt J. Simon, a Bound Brook municipal court judge, was suspended without pay on Feb. 11, 2025, over his alleged conduct.
