(EDISON, NJ) — The New Jersey Punk Rock Flea Market Spring Fling returns to the New Jersey Expo Center in Edison, New Jersey, on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 2026, bringing with it a two-day blowout of punk rock legends, hundreds of artists and makers, food trucks, live entertainment, tattoos, oddities, and community-driven fundraising on a scale that matches the event’s outsized reputation.
Long celebrated as one of the East Coast’s most beloved alternative shopping experiences and arts festivals, the Spring Fling edition of NJPRFM will feature special guest appearances from Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein of The Misfits, Richie Ramone of The Ramones, and Monte A. Melnick, the legendary longtime tour manager of The Ramones. Guests will also be able to take part in professional photo ops, shop hundreds of independent artists and makers from across the country, enjoy a rotating army of food trucks, experience live music and entertainment, and get tattooed or pierced on site.
NJPRFM will also host a special 1:00pm screening of Heavy Healing inside the event, with admission included in the regular ticket price. Created by Howie Abrams in collaboration with Jammi York and Seth Abrams, the documentary explores the healing power of heavy music through stories from artists, fans, and music-world figures whose lives have been shaped by music while navigating cancer, anxiety, depression, addiction, and other major challenges.
Abrams is a former music business executive and author known for titles including The ABCs of Metallica, Finding Joseph I: An Oral History of H.R. from Bad Brains, and Misfit Summer Camp: 20 Years on the Road with the Vans Warped Tour. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with celebrity musicians who appear in the film or were personally affected by its subject matter, with participants to be announced.
The film features artists such as Jesse Malin, Music Executive Michael Alago, Vinnie Stigma of Agnostic Front and other prominent members of the heavy music scene. The Spring Fling presentation is expected to be only the film’s second screening and currently the only one scheduled in New Jersey.

This year’s Spring Fling will place a major emphasis on giving back, with multiple charitable initiatives woven directly into the weekend.
Among the most prominent is the debut of the Rise Above Charity Group Art Show, a special pop-up exhibition and sale featuring artwork from participating artists, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. The activation expands NJPRFM’s ongoing commitment to using its platform not only to entertain, but to channel traffic, energy, and dollars toward organizations doing meaningful work in the real world.
NJPRFM will also donate $2 from every ticket sold for the Spring Fling weekend to Lou Koller of Sick of It All, helping support the beloved hardcore frontman and one of the most recognizable and respected vocalists in heavy music as he continues his battle with esophageal cancer.
In addition, the event will host its annual Crummy Easter Bunny Photo Shoot, with all proceeds benefiting local LGBTQ and Trans Equality, Rights and Crisis Support organizations.
Beyond fundraising, NJPRFM is also opening its doors to a number of nonprofit organizations free of charge, inviting them to spend the weekend engaging directly with attendees and sharing resources that support the community. Participating and invited groups include the New Jersey Harm Reduction Coalition and other organizations focused on harm reduction, bodily autonomy, trans support, and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
“An event this big should do more than just entertain people, it should show up for people,” said Joseph Kuzemka of True North Event Syndicate, producer of the New Jersey Punk Rock Flea Market. “We’ve built this thing on community, and to us that means using our platform to give back in real ways. Whether it’s helping fight food insecurity through the Rise Above Charity Group Art Show, donating from every ticket to support Lou Koller of Sick of it All, raising money for LGBTQ and Trans Equality and crisis support groups, or giving space to nonprofits doing vital work around harm reduction, bodily rights and more, that part matters just as much as the fun. Maybe more.”
As always, the New Jersey Punk Rock Flea Market will continue its mission of creating an inclusive, high-energy environment where creativity, individuality, and community collide. The event remains family-friendly and continues to champion a zero-tolerance stance toward hate and exclusion.
