(NEWARK, NJ) — New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents Deon Cole on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 8:00pm. Deon Cole is one of the funniest observational comics and comedy writers working today.
His Netflix stand-up specials include 2024’s Ok, Mister; Charleen’s Boy and Cole Hearted. An acclaimed actor, Deon is best known for his roles in Black-ish, Grown-ish, Average Joe, The Color Purple, The Madness and the Barbershop film franchise. His many accolades include multiple NAACP Image Awards, SAG Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards.

NOTE: This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, smart watches, smart accessories, cameras or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space.
Upon arrival at the venue and after your tickets have been scanned, phones will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests can access their phones throughout the event at designated Phone Use Areas in the venue. All phones will be re-secured in Yondr cases before returning.
