Authorities continue to search for a 72-year-old retired educator who has been missing since Friday.
Stephen Ianotti is 5-foot-3 and about 130 pounds with gray and white hair, Gloucester County Emergency Management said. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, a green sweat jacket and a gray beanie. Ianotti is known to frequent the Logan, Mantua and Pitman areas.
Ianotti was last seen in the area of the CVS in Logan.
Logan police Capt. Ray Kennedy confirmed Tuesday morning that Ianotti remains missing.
Ianotti may be operating a 1997 black Jeep Wrangler with the license plate RUNT 61.
Ianotti is a former math teacher and football coach in the Kingsway Regional School District, according to Chris Konawel, a Gloucester County commissioner.
Authorities planned to use a helicopter Tuesday, but were unable to due to high wind gusts that might reach 50 mph. Investigators continue to search by ground and are checking license plate readers, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Logan police at 856-589-0911.
