(PRINCETON, NJ) — Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 4:00pm. The readings will take place at the Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center. The March reading will feature poetry by A. Benedict and Betsy Studholme.
Their readings will be followed by an open mic available to up to 10 audience members who would like to read their original poetry.
A Benedict is a Mercer County, NJ writer, poet, and storyteller whose poetry and spoken word synthesize emotion and the daily challenges, successes, failures, joys, and sorrows that many experience and relate to. This past summer, A. Benedict released his latest book, “A Return from Elysium—Racing Sisyphus Up the Mountain” (on Amazon.com). In addition, his work has been published in the New Jersey Bards Poetry Anthology.
Betsy Studholme is a writer from New Jersey. Her work has been featured in Dirt Child, Moral Crema, BRUISER Mag, on Lower Grand Radio, and she has forthcoming work with Dead End Zine and Ritual Dagger. She is the host of the monthly reading series for Discount Guillotine and Mind Palace Poetry. Betsy is a poet and lover of New York.
The Princeton Makes store is located between Princeton Nassau Pediatrics and Rita’s in the Princeton Shopping Center.

Princeton Makes is a cooperative comprised of 37 artists who work across a range of artistic genres, including painting, drawing, stained glass, sculpture, textiles, and jewelry in a variety of designs, patterns, and more.
Ragged Sky is a small, highly selective cooperative press. They work with their authors closely. Authors retain copyright and they use their own experience and professional resources to support the author’s work through the editing, production, and design process. Ragged Sky Press has historically focused on mature voices, overlooked poets, and women’s perspectives.
