The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg resumed Saturday on the streets of downtown St. Petersburg with the first-ever NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on a street course and first IndyCar qualifying session of the season among the highlights.
Scott McLaughlin and Max Taylor finished first in qualifying for Sunday’s IndyCar and Indy NXT races, respectively. NASCAR Truck driver Layne Riggs led 40 of the 80 laps to win the OnlyBulls Green Flag 150. Bobby Gossett picked up his first career win in Mazda MX-5 Cup Race 1.
