AJ Shearer had two assists, then scored the game winning goal with 4:51 remaining as St. Joseph (Met.) defeated Red Bank Catholic, 3-2, at the Red Bank Armory.
Alejandro Monagas, who assisted on Shearer’s winning goal, scored two goals to give St. Joseph (4-3) a 2-0 lead.
Red Bank Catholic (3-2-1) tied the game thanks to third period goals by Jaykeb Porbansky and Luther Vanim.
Brody Sansone made 17 saves for St. Joseph (Met.) and Drew Schafer had 25 for Red Bank Catholic.
