The Seahawks took a 3-0 advantage on a 33-yard field goal from Jason Myers on the first drive of the game.

The Seahawks scored at the end of an eight-play, 52-yard drive to begin the game.
Sam Darnold’s 23-yard completion to Cooper Kupp got the Seahawks firmly into field goal range.
Seattle was unable to convert the drive into a touchdown, but it did get a 33-yard field goal out of Myers.
New England punted on its first two drives, while Seattle punted on the two drives after the field goal.
Seattle’s defense recorded a pair of sacks in the opening 15 minutes and it only allowed one big play, a 21-yard completion to Kayshon Boutte.
Both starting running backs earned over 10 yards in the first. Kenneth Walker has 16 rushing yards. Rhamondre Stevenson has 17 yards of his own.
A.J. Barner is the game’s leading receiver after one quarter with 27 yards on two receptions.
