Immersive theater has long been all the rage for adults, but at Mile Square Theatre’s production of The Young King, kids get to step into the story.
Originally written by Oscar Wilde and adapted for young audiences by Australian playwright Niki Bloom, The Young King is an exploration of materialism and the real price paid for luxury goods—performed with shadow play, puppets, and audience interaction.
Mile Square Theatre presents The Young King from February 19 – March 8, 2026, on Thursdays and Fridays at 7:00pm, Saturdays at 5:00pm, and Sundays at 3:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The theater is located at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken, New Jersey.
