This year, the FEFF Campus, the journalism school of the Far East Film Festival in Udine, reaches the historic milestone of its twelfth edition. This project now has solid roots and continues to attract young talent eager to test their skills on the front lines.
So, who will be the 10 aspiring journalists of 2026? Here are their names: Alex Petrescu (Romania), Annabelle Duggan (United Kingdom), Magdalena Nieświec (Poland), Sara Domenicano (Italy), Vedrana Bogdanović (Serbia), Hanhee Oh (South Korea), Jia Enad (Philippines), Irving Ly (Vietnam), Rino Lu (China), and Yasmine Chan (Hong Kong).
We are particularly proud to note that Magdalena Nieświec and Rino Lu are already collaborating with us at Asian Movie Pulse, and we wish them all the best for this exciting experience.
The team will be led, as always, by veteran journalist Mathew Scott and will have the opportunity to study the festival’s mechanisms from the inside and meet the protagonists of the Eastern scene. In the past, we recall, various legends of Asian cinema have donated their time and knowledge to the team: from Japanese director Hamaguchi Ryusuke, Oscar winner for Drive My Car, to Chinese diva Yao Chen, from Taiwanese diva Brigitte Lin to Hong Kong superstars Johnnie To and Sammo Hung.
