It’s no secret: New Jersey’s Class of 2026 in boys swimming is stacked with talent.
This year’s seniors include Meet of Champions medalists, All-State standouts, and Division I commits who are all poised to make waves at the next level. With so many outstanding swimmers in the mix, it’s not easy to pick just one as the top athlete from the Class of 2026.
But that’s exactly what we’re asking you to do.
In the first edition of a four-part series, the NJ.com swimming staff highlights the top senior girls swimmers and asks you, the fans, to vote for which competitors you think are the best.
Scroll down to see the nominees and then vote in the poll at the bottom.
A note to voters:
- The outcome of the voting will have no bearing on NJ.com postseason awards or All-State selections, which will made solely by boys swimming writer Matt Bove
- Voting ends on Monday, Jan. 12 at noon.
- The finalists and the results of the poll are below the list of athletes. Times from the below athletes can be found on nj.com

We know you take these polls seriously. We do, too. We ask that you operate by these guidelines. Organized voting campaigns consisting of friends, family and school communities are OK. Please note, the poll will view rapid-fire voting from any individual IP as an attack and will put that IP in a time out. Use of automation, technical enhancements or other unnatural tactics designed to skew results may result in voiding of votes.
