Winters fills stat sheet to lead Princeton past Princeton Day – Girls basketball recap

Anna Winters led Princeton with 15 points and three rebounds to go with four steals during a 40-32 win over Princeton Day in Princeton.

Princeton jumped out to a four-point lead after the first quarter and doubled it by halftime.

Katie Sharkey totaled nine points and eight rebounds while Chloe Hunt grabbed 12 rebounds.

Princeton Day (10-5) cut into the lead with a 13-8 third quarter before Princeton was able to close it out.

Nica Martin led Princeton Day with 14 points.
