The Yankees will headline ESPN’s 2026 spring training coverage as part of the network’s multi-platform rollout leading into the Major League Baseball season.
ESPN announced it will nationally televise four spring training games from March 2–5, with the Yankees’ March 4 matchup against the Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers, Florida serving as one of the featured broadcasts.
First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, and the game will air nationally without blackout restrictions while streaming on the ESPN App.
The network’s spring slate begins March 2 with the Atlanta Braves facing the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, followed by Team USA taking on the San Francisco Giants in Scottsdale on March 3 in a World Baseball Classic tune-up.
After the Yankees–Red Sox showdown, coverage concludes March 5 with the Los Angeles Dodgers meeting the Cincinnati Reds in Goodyear, Arizona.
Beyond the nationally televised games, ESPN Unlimited subscribers will have access to six additional spring training matchups between March 19 and March 24.
In partnership with Major League Baseball, ESPN will also distribute MLB.TV through the ESPN App and ESPN.com, giving fans access to more than 250 out-of-market spring training games starting Feb. 20 and more than 2,000 regular season contests.
ESPN’s regular season schedule begins April 15 on Jackie Robinson Day with an exclusive late-night broadcast of the New York Mets against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
