No. 7 Seton Hall Prep defeats Notre Dame (CT) in OT – Boys ice hockey recap

Christian Jaworski scored the game-winning goal for Seton Hall Prep, No. 7 in the NJ.com Top 20, in its 3-2 overtime win against Notre Dame (CT) at Edward L. Bennett Arena in West Haven, CT.

Seton Hall Prep (4-5) took a 2-0 lead in the first period with goals from Carter McLoughlin and Luca Burgio before Brent Franko cut it to a one-goal game in the second for Notre Dame (CT).

Notre Dame (CT)’s Xavier Jacob tied things up in the third to send the game into overtime.

Cayden Hoyler made 23 saves on 25 shots for Seton Hall Prep.

Aiden Sherman recorded 23 saves on 26 shots for Notre Dame (CT).
