(TOMS RIVER, NJ) — Join bestselling author Jason Reynolds in a virtual discussion on Thursday, April 30, 2026 presented by the Ocean County Library. Reynolds will discuss his latest work, Coach, the fifth and final entry in the highly popular Track series. The event begins at 7:00pm.
Following the immersive stories of Ghost, Lu, Patina, and Sunny, it’s finally time for Coach to shine in his own book as we discover: Who was Coach before he became an inspiring leader?
Before Coach was the man who gave firm-handed guidance to the Defenders track team, he was little Otie Brody. Otie is a sprinter, like his father who is always away on business trips. One day his father brings home a pair of Jordans which make Otie feel like he can leap to the moon. But one morning he wakes up to find the Jordans and his father are both missing.
