Life Plan Communities provider FellowshipLIFE has expanded its network in New Jersey with the addition of Harrogate Village senior living in Lakewood.
Located at 400 Locust St. in the fast-growing Ocean County municipality, the property offers the full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted independence, skilled nursing, respite care and rehabilitation.
A spokesperson for the organization told NJBIZ there is no transaction value, as Harrogate chose to affiliate with FellowshipLIFE. The Lakewood campus comprises 246 independent residences and 67 skilled nursing beds (12 dedicated to memory care). A team of 221 employees (103 full time, 86 part time and 32 per diem) support the facility, according to the spokesperson.
The addition of the former Harrogate marks FellowshipLIFE’s sixth community. It builds on plans to grow the organization, and expand access to high-quality, innovative senior living.

Not-for-profit FellowshipLIFE operates with a mindset to transform the aging experience. Beyond covering many of life’s stages for aging adults, the provider emphasizes personalized wellness, an active lifestyle and community culture.
At Harrogate Village, amenities include a heated indoor pool, woodshop and putting green, salon, walking trails, bike share, private library, community garden, fitness offerings and more. The community also offers clubs, classes and even concerts.
Due to its location, the campus provides a blend of coastal living and comprehensive care. The proximity to the Jersey Shore also reinforces the community’s resort-style setting, offering convenient access to shopping, dining and wellness destinations.
FellowshipLIFE’s communities also include: Applewood Village in Freehold, Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge, Friends Village in Woodstown, Pines Village in Whiting and Riverwalk Village in Hackettstown.
