Main cast announced for MBC Plus drama series “My Idol, My Debut.” Now cast for lead roles are Ji Chang-Min (The Boyz) and Hwang Ji-A, while Lee Jin-Hyuk, Lee Jin-Gyu, Lee Ho-Hyeon, Nana (Wooah), Kaede (tripleS) and Isa (STAYC) are cast for major supporting character roles. The screenplay features a time-slip coming of age story following young people who are training to become idols. The boy group Boy To The Moon and the girl group Irion are fictional groups featured in the drama series, but they will also debut as real idol groups with music releases and stage performances around the time the drama series airs.
“My Idol, My Debut” will first air July, 2026 in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: To prevent a tragic accident, Choi Ae-Ni (Hwang Ji-A), who is an enthusiastic idol group fan, travels back 8 years in time. There, she becomes an idol trainee herself to alter destiny.
The boy group “Boy To The Moon” has members of Han Jae-Ha (Ji Chang-Min), Lee Sun (Lee Jin-Hyuk), Kayden (Lee Jin-Gyu) and Eun-Ho (Lee Ho-Hyeon). The girl group “Irion” has members of Choi Ae-Ni, A-Ji (Nana), Karin (Kaede) and the last member (Isa).
