Luxury Italian tailoring brand Canali has appointed former Prada Director for Menswear RTW Collection, Alessio Lillocci, as its new Creative Director.
The UK marks one of Canali’s “most important markets”, where it has already built a significant presence through its flagship on 64 New Bond Street in London and its dedicated online store.
In his new role, Lillocci will be responsible for overseeing and strengthening the brand’s identity, ensuring stylistic and qualitative consistency between creative vision, product development and Canali’s DNA.

The brand notes that Lillocci’s appointment marks a further step in the brand’s evolution, and that one of his key goals will be to consolidate and reinterpret the brand’s aesthetic codes through a modern lens.
Lillocci began his career in his mother’s tailoring workshop and then moved into product development and design roles. He spent almost 21 years at Brunello Cucinelli, with his last role being Head of Men’s Style Office. He then spent almost a year at Prada before now moving to Canali.
Stefano Canali, CEO and President of Canali, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alessio. His experience, sensitivity, and deep knowledge of the menswear world will represent important assets for the future of the brand.
“He will work alongside our style and product teams to shape a renewed yet coherent vision of the Canali identity.”
Lillocci added: “Joining Canali is a great honor for me. It is a brand that fully represents the excellence and sartorial mastery of Italian menswear, where product culture, quality, and attention to detail are tangible and everyday pillars. Here, all the elements are in place to build an authentic and coherent creative journey, capable of evolving while respecting the brand’s DNA.”
In March, Canali had called on Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas to be the ambassador of its ‘Me by Canali’ made-to-measure service.
