Cambridge International Education (CIE) has announced a new date for the postponed A Level Mathematics Paper 32, which will now be held on June 8, 2026, as part of the ongoing June examination series.
In an official statement, Cambridge also confirmed that assessed marks will be awarded to candidates of A Level Mathematics Paper 52 (administrative zones 3 and 4) and AS Level Computer Science Paper 12 in Pakistan, following confirmed incidents of paper leaks prior to the exams.
The examination body stated that both the AS Level Computer Science Paper 12 (conducted on May 12) and Mathematics Paper 52 were “shared prematurely in Pakistan against strict regulations.”
According to Cambridge, the affected papers will be disregarded, and final results will be calculated using students’ performance in other completed components of the same syllabus. The approach aims to ensure fairness and eliminate any advantage gained through exam malpractice.
Cambridge clarified that the circulation of leaked material in Pakistan does not necessarily indicate the source of the breach originated within the country, and investigations into the incidents are ongoing.
The board also warned that it is facing sustained attempts to steal examination papers during the June 2026 series and confirmed that legal action is being pursued in collaboration with law enforcement agencies and social media platforms.
It further stated that individuals involved in sharing confidential exam materials may face permanent disqualification from Cambridge qualifications.
The results for Cambridge International AS and A Level examinations will be announced on August 11, 2026 as scheduled.
