N.J. cleaning companies fined more than $450K for not paying workers overtime, state says

The owner of two New Jersey janitorial companies has been ordered to pay a hefty fine after the state Department of Labor said it failed to pay workers overtime.

Affordable Quality Cleaning LLC and Quality Property Management Corp., both based in Jackson, will pay $457,500 to settle the allegations, the agency said in a statement on Friday.
