The basics:
- First TruGolf Links location opens in Cherry Hill
- Features golf simulators, restaurant, full-service bar
- Franchise plans up to 40 more locations in NJ, Pa.
- Grand opening celebration begins Aug. 7
An entertainment venue that blends indoor golf with an upscale restaurant and bar is opening in Cherry Hill.
After first revealing plans two years ago to create a destination that allows fans to play the sport virtually, golf simulation technology company TruGolf debuted the concept at Plaza at Cherry Hill.
Branded as TruGolf Links, the 6,045-square-foot space features:
- An upscale restaurant with a chef-inspired menu
- Full-service bar offering handcrafted cocktails and a curated wine and beer selection
- Five premium golf simulator bars, including the signature Horizon simulator with a 17-foot screen
Since introducing the concept in August 2024, TruGolf said it has signed agreements with regional developers to bring more than 100 TruGolf Links sites to New Jersey, New York and Illinois.
As part of deal with local entrepreneur Nicholas Reimondo, the franchise plans to launch 40 centers across North and Central Jersey, as well as a few in Bucks County, Pa.
The hospitality industry veteran and golfer signed a lease last summer with Urban Edge Properties to open the first-ever TruGolf Links.
Ready to play
Ahead of the grand opening, Reimondo said, “It’s been more than a year in the making, and I couldn’t be more excited to open our doors.”
“Whether you’re looking for family fun in our multisport arcade, a memorable date night, corporate events, or group golf on more than 17,000 courses worldwide, including local favorites like Pennsauken, Rancocas, and Medford Lake, we’re the place to go,” he shared.
Reimondo went on to say, “We’ve built a place that offers something for everyone,” he said. “Cherry Hill now has a destination that combines immersive indoor golf, exceptional food and drinks, and first-class entertainment under one roof. I’m incredibly proud to make this vision a reality.”
TruGolf Links has not announced when or where Reimondo will add other locations.
TruGolf Link Chief Development Officer Ben Litalien said, “Plaza at Cherry Hill is one of the premier retail destinations in the country and the ideal location for our flagship TruGolf Links center.”
He continued, “Nick and his team have created an incredible destination featuring world-class golf simulators, arcade games, elevated dining, and a full-service bar. Everyone at TruGolf is excited to celebrate our first flagship franchise location and looks forward to Nick’s continued success.”

At the Route 38 shopping center, TruGolf Links joins a tenant mix that also includes:
- Discount grocer Aldi
- Wine and spirits seller Total Wine
- Casual-dining chain Red Robin
- Family entertainment center Chuck E. Cheese
- Retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods
TruGolf Links President Nick Larsen said, “I’m proud of Nick and his team for representing our flagship TruGolf Links experience. He has created a beautiful facility that showcases our industry-leading simulator technology alongside an outstanding food and beverage experience.”
After an Aug. 4 ribbon cutting ceremony with Cherry Hill Mayor Dave Fleisher, the venue will hold a two-day grand opening celebration starting Aug. 7.
Festivities include:
- A visit from PXG’s mobile club-fitting van from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days
- Giveaways, food and beverage specials, introductory simulator pricing and a contest to win tickets to an Ed Sheeran concert
