Cha Tae-Hyun and Uhm Ji-Won are cast for lead roles in Netflix distributed movie “Two Cops And Five Kids.” The film is setup as a family action-comedy and will be directed by Kim Jong-Hyeon (“Run-Off“). Cha Tae-Hyun and Uhm Ji-Won will play a married couple, with the husband working actively as a detective and the wife being a former police officer. Playing their five children in the movie are Do Young-Seo, Kim Na-Eun, Jung Han-Sol, Shim Ji-An, and Kim Ra-Hee.
“Two Cops And Five Kids” will be released sometime next year.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Dong-Sik (Cha Tae-Hyun) is married to Gyeong-A (Uhm Ji-Won) and they have five children. Dong-Sik works as a detective, while he prepares for his promotion exam, and Gyeong-A is a former ace police officer. After a 10-year break to raise her children, she joins a secret missions for the National Intelligence Service. Dong-Sik must now take care of the five children by himself. He struggles to balance taking care of the kids and his job. One day, Dong-Sik gets unexpectedly involved in an operation to take down a criminal organization.
