President Donald Trump promoted a video showing mixed martial arts artists attacking journalists on Sunday less than 24 hours after pitching his pal and UFC boss Dana White to serve as the next White House press secretary.
Trump, in a wild Truth Social repost, shared an AI-generated animated clip from X that depicts White slamming his hands on the podium inside the White House press briefing room and declaring that he “bought help” in the form of several UFC brawlers before they assault journos for simply asking him questions.
“Is Trump a threat to democracy?” asks one journalist in the clip, which appears to have been made in the style of “Family Guy.”
“Khabib,” replied White, essentially summoning Russia’s Khabib Nurmagomedov, who grabs the journalist by his shoulders and takes him down to the ground.
“Let’s talk now,” Nurmagomedov tells the reporter while pinning him down on the floor. (It’s worth noting that the fighter once had a cozy relationship with Vladimir Putin ally Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya whose government has long been accused of human rights violations against journalists.)
Elsewhere in the clip, another Russian fighter, Islam Makhachev, is seen grabbing and carrying out a crying reporter who says he doesn’t “feel safe” before suggesting he’ll be sent to Dagestan for up to three years.
White also summons Brazilian-American fighter Amanda Nunes and America’s Kayla Harris who begin to pull at the arms of a blue-haired reporter with a septum ring who asks about Trump’s pronouns.
“This is fascism!” the reporter shouts while running out of the room while another fighter kicks someone square in the face.
Fighter Josh Hokit later grabs the mic from White when a reporter asks him about a possible Michelle Obama presidential bid and — much like he did on the South Lawn during the UFC’s Freedom 250 event in June — declared that the former first lady was “a man,” leading to a face palm from the UFC boss.
The clip concludes with Trump asking White how the briefing went after looking out at the room full of seemingly unconscious reporters, broken chairs and destruction.
“Fiery, but mostly peaceful,” White said.
“Beautiful,” Trump replied.

The assault-laden clip arrived on the president’s timeline after he used his social media platform Saturday to announce that he offered White, whom he described as a “violent fighter and warrior,” to be the next press secretary after Katie Zacharia’s trainwreck five days on the job.
He noted he requested White bring “assistants” with him “even though some are not from our country” before naming Nurmagomedov, Makhachev, Nunes, Harris and others who made careers out of the UFC.
White — who helped bring the UFC’s controversial Freedom 250 event to the White House’s South Lawn in June — has reportedly declined the job offer, although he later told reporters at a news conference he was meeting with Trump on Monday at the White House.
