We are one step closer to crowning a national champion for the 2025 college football season. We started with 12 teams in the College Football Playoff bracket, and now we’re down to seven as the quarterfinal round has begun. That also means some of the best squads in the nation are ready to take their rightful place on center stage.
Each of the top four seeds will open CFP play in the quarterfinals. No. 1 Indiana, No. 3 Georgia and No. 4 Texas Tech all received an additional week of preparation time by way of their first-round byes and will hope to quickly shake off any rust and avoid the fate that befell No. 2 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl.
No. 10 Miami jumped all over the Buckeyes early and raced out to a 14-0 lead, then withstood a second-half rally to pull off a 24-14 victory in the first College Football Playoff quarterfinal. The Hurricanes got a huge game from their defensive line and an efficient performance from quarterback Carson Beck in the victory.
Action continued Jan. 1 when No. 5 Oregon defeated Texas Tech, 23-0, in the Orange Bowl. That was the first showdown in a tripleheader that also pits No. 9 Alabama against Indiana in the Rose Bowl and No. 3 Georgia opposite No. 6 Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl.
Below, you’ll find all the viewing information for every game all the way through to the CFP National Championship.
