Man shot to death in N.J. city, officials say

Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Newark on Friday night.

The man was fatally shot on Leo Street in Newark’s South Ward about 7:25 p.m., Essex County Prosecutor’s Office spokeswoman Carmen Martin told NJ.com.
