Madison Lane contributed 15 points and five rebounds to help give Middletown South a 33-32 victory over Holmdel in Middletown.
Ava Loucopoulos added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Middletown South (3-3).
Middletown South trailed 18-14 at halftime before scoring 19 points in the second half, as its offense came life in the fourth quarter, scoring 18 points in the final frame.
Holmdel falls to 2-4.
