If you were planning to stop by the post office on Presidents Day, you’ll have to adjust your plans to stop by after Monday.
United States Postal Service offices are closed on Feb. 16, according to its website.
However, they will reopen during regular business hours tomorrow on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Does the mail run on Presidents Day 2026? Is there mail delivery?
If you need to mail a letter or package, you will have to send it out after the holiday.
There is no regular mail delivery on Presidents’ Day.
Only Priority Mail Express is available on Feb. 16.
Will Amazon, FedEx and UPS be delivering on Presidents Day?
If you need to send mail or a package, FedEx and UPS will not deliver mail on Presidents Day.
FedEx Express is on a modified service schedule.
UPS is operating and stores will be open, although UPS SurePost and UPS Mail Innovations deliveries will be delayed by one additional business day due to the federal (USPS) holiday.
Amazon delivery services will run as scheduled, and there are no expected delays related to the Presidents Day holiday.
The only holidays Amazon will not deliver are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
